^ Technically, we are 'forced' to use a birds head, if that's the look/vibe you're going for in a NR config. A regular pistol grip is just shy of the 26" OAL requirement on the NR /18.5" Model.
Will you have the 14.75" barrels available separately?

That’s not true. For the pump action models it’s NR as long as the stock doesn’t become less than 26” by folding. A fixed stock/grip that makes is less than 26” is fine. Hence the Sulun SS-211 at 23” and Henry mares leg 357 mag ( and others) at 24”. Stocks don’t fold, manual action, less than 26” still NR. The act just words it very oddly.

Doesn’t apply to the semi auto Mossbergs though.

There’s a 25% tarrif on USA made firearms as far as I know.

There is 18.5 in barreled models available as well. So it would be like a 940 but you have more options for stocks. Kinda kills the SBS semi auto vibe but it's cool to have more option for semiautos.

This 990 platform is much different than the old Mossberg 930.
The 930 had a spring that went right through the stock. (Same idea as an AR-15)

This new design that interchanges with Mossberg 500 stocks is a huge upgrade.
