Garmin Coronagraph

Had Caldwell. Pain in the ass to get setup for reliable readings. Bought barrel attached MagnetoSpeed. Small and easy to use but induces barrel harmonics that make it less practical (and lets not talk about using with muzzle brake). Bought the Garmin the very first quarter it came out. Works great for rifle and even my bow. Brainless setup and use.

Where did you go to use the Canadian tire money? I’ve checked Canadian Tire and Sport Chek but they don’t have them listed for sale under Garmin? Thanks in advance!
The CT part # is - 676-6786 but no stock anywhere at this time.
If enough people contact /email Canadian Tire head office and request this item, they might just take notice ?
Update - corporate CTC is the obstacle, the purchasing agent is not authorizing the purchase of this item, so the stores can order it.
Keep requesting it on line, it takes only a minute.

I just bought the Athlon Rangecraft. It was about $200 less than a Garmin and it works well. We set it beside a Garmin and they got about the same results. The Athlon gives a reading a bit sooner. I went into Settings and set it to back light each reading for 30 seconds. battery lasts for a full range day of shooting.

Where are these available in Canada? I’ve looked but no stock?

I lucked out and acquired one off the EE for a very fair price. I installed it on a bracket that goes on my arca rails and this things the deal. I had the Labradar and the magneto and this is far superior in size, setup and reliability. On a recent trip to Saskatchewan for song dogs. They wished we never showed upIMG_8589[1].JPG

I’ve put in every combination of 676-6786 on the Canadian Tire Web Page that I can think of and it says that product doesn’t exist. Even put just Garmin and it doesn’t show that they carry them at all. ??????

It is a special order item, not a regular stock item. I ordered one this week. $799 and I will use my CTC money to pay for it.

Update - CTC is having difficulties, it seems the supplier want's to sell it to CTC at retail not wholesale.

I've had the pleasure of owning and using more than a few chrono's.
Back when the club had a Pact Chrono it was a privilege to be able to get access to it.
Then I dropped a fair amount of disposable income on my own shooting chrony with a printer and was super happy I could print my own data whenever I wanted...
I sure don't miss the set up time, or being limited by the weather (sun at high angles caused all kinds of grief).
And I definitely don't miss it when an errant shot takes out an upright...or blows right through a sensor...
Then came the LabRadar. An absolutely amazing bit of kit that still has functionality past some of the current popular options. But it's bulky, and super finicky to get it to read to the point it went from "I can Chrono every shot I take" to "I'll only Chrono when I absolutely have to".
So after seeing so many glowing reviews of the Garmin, and having so many positive experiences with their other products I bit the bullet and spent more (again!) on a Chrono than I ever wanted to...
The thing is flat out amazing.
Super easy and quick to set up, small and light to pack, isn't fussy at all and catches every shot.
What a step up from what we had, times are definitely good 👍

Local gun store has a Garmin that's very tempting..
My current chrono that's about to get a warm boot in the garbage can. Let me down last range day with dead batteries yet again. Not to mention it needs to be set up perfectly and only accurately reads about 20% of the shots.

How much money are you wasting on ammo shot over a chrono that fails to give you good speed measurement? The Garmin will measure every round fired. That alone will save considerable money.
