Rifle Inheritance

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for letting me into your forum. Was directed here from another member whom I know through a car forum in the GTA.

I have an oddball collection of rifles and shotguns that need restoration from my father’s collection. My little gun cabinet can only store 4 off them, so the rest will hopefully find new homes. I’m hoping to be able to find parts and resources here.

Everything I needed, a new hobby to sink time and money into :ROFLMAO:

edit: and happy Canada Day!

Welcome aboard. There’s many knowledgeable and talented people on here that I’m sure an help you !! Greetings from SEOntario

Thanks guys!

Lots of great threads here to sift through. Much like my car projects, parts will sit on my shelf for years. Gives me time to think. That’s my excuse, and sticking with it! Before getting too deep into projects, making sure I have mags for everything.

Youll be upgrading that 4 gun cabinet to a bigger one soon.

Got a closet or space under a bed?
Oh no. Much like my father, I also inherited the hoarding gene. And if there is a vacuum, I will fill that space. No, four will do.

Will post pics of the rest, but for now, only have a shot of the .410

Lol 4 will do.

I think I was 18 the last time I had less than 4 guns.

Don’t say that! LOL.
When I was that age, I had one! So I think I’m doing okay.
Technically, have 12 at the moment. But as said, the others will be up for sale.

Have really been enjoying the forum to date. Have found a lot of great information, and realized there is still so much to learn!
Finally got access to the EE, so hopefully will be able to offer up some equipment in the near future.

Would love some advice from the community on selling some old stock, so will make a new post in the newbie FAQ.

Thanks again for welcoming me into (gun pushers?) :)

Don't be in a rush to refinish your inheritance... many people have done that only to end up with firearrms that don't resemble the old guns their father used.
