crusader arms pump action rifle

It takes both AR mags and the BCL MRX 20 rounders…If you are in SW Ontario, drop by the Niagara Regional 3 Gun Championship on July 26…Crusader Arms is the title sponsor and you can get a close up look at it.

Probably the most effective marketing they could do is to let people shoot a stage with that gun.
(I hope that's what they have in mind.)

I like pump action rifles when they aren’t trying to replicate the feel of another rifle. One of my favorite guns to shoot is my visible loader. But it seems tacky to have a HIGH SPEED LOW DRAG OPERATOR SPECIAL pump action RIFLE!
But what they're trying to do is have people use the parts and accessories unused that sitting in their closet because of banned guns. Or companies reuse tooling. Or to mimic the feel of an AR.

That makes a lot more sense than what I figured it was. Oops

This ^ definitely.

I think the perfect answer would be to have a design that accepts user-replaceable magazine wells like the Ruger PCC, or at least could be ordered from the manufacturer with optional different magwells like the old Beretta Storm. That way a guy with a drawerful of AR mags would get to use them, but somebody who wants a higher-capacity proprietary mag could get the gun made to suit him as well.

No idea if this is feasible, just thinking out loud...:)

I really wish Remington would bring back the 7615 into production.

Or if they won't; Someone should rip-off the blueprints and start making clones.
I had a Remington 7615 and it was a piece of garbage. In order to remove the trigger group and magazine well you had to remove the butt stock. The first week I owned it I put 5 rounds of factory through mine and the stripper plate fell out of the magazine well in several pieces. It took 18 months for the warranty repair and when it came back I could barely work the pump because it was so stiff. That's when I demanded my money back because I was tired of owning a firearm I barely used.

If I ever buy another Crusader Arms product I will not buy it directly from them. Their customer service is horrible.

Looks like the Crusader Arms pump-action rifles do actually exist.

Funny how there's been no announcement or advertisement of any kind. Maybe they're embarrassed to be selling it LOL.

Without any reviews or actually seeing it in action it's going to be a hard sell...

Looks like the foregrip is rail mounted so could be swapped out for something that might actually work without introducing premature arthritis

Yeah it's a very strange grip. Why would you want it hanging down like that? Odd choice.

Something that wraps around the handguard on the sides would make more sense... like a shotgun.

But ... we can probably guess what's on the inside, because there was no time (between April and July) to develop a new BCG?
Looks like buffer tube into the upper, transfer bar instead of a gas tube, deleted brass deflector, unknown bolt catch and mag?
Too long at 18.5", but they had a lot of parts to shift from the Crypto memory hole and they've used a lot of them in this PND.

Troy PAR is better proven design with action release. Just got mine really smooth out of the box and well made. Feels on par with the 1200-1500$ AR's we used to be able to buy.
