7mm Remington / ramshot magnum powder

I’m looking to develop a load for a t3x with 160 grain bullets. Likely going with Accubonds, but willing to experiment with other bullets in this weight.

I am wondering what your results have been with this powder in this bullet weight on game?

What is your load data?

While I’m at it, how about 160 grain using H4350 / IMR4831 ?

Planning to have a moose / elk load in 7mag.

I have tried a few powders including H4350, H4831 and RL22 and ended up with IMR7828 for best accuracy with 160 grains Accubonds.

Try VV-165, it's a very stable powder and offers the 7mm Rem. Mag. excellent accuracy, well, it does in my rifle. Nosler reloading manual suggests that it is the most accurate powder. Have Fun!

I use 64.00 grains of RL19 behind a 160 grain Nosler Partition for just over 3000 FPS.
I gave up on Accubonds, I've had them go through deer without opening up at all.
I have also seen them recovered from Moose with a retention weight of under 50%.

How’s that load out to 300-400 yards?

No idea as I only sight my rifle in for 100 yards.
In my four plus decades of hunting, I have never had to shoot an animal more than 200 yards.
Most of my shots here in the Kootenays are under 100 yards.
