Finally finished stitching together a 44 remington magnum Brobee-style-ballistics exploration + spring bear hunt adventure. For the hunting segment I tried something different in the storytelling department, am curious what folks think about this approach.

Thanks for watching!

Excellent video as always. Good shooting and congratulations on the nice bear. I don’t mind the different style, puts the viewer a little more “in the moment” I feel. I appreciate the addition of the cam pro bullets in the testing portion, they are one of the most available options on the market these days and you don’t seen many reports on terminal performance with them.

Great job on all aspects, the data collection and presentation, video editing, I personally liked the no narration as it was easier to feel like we are with you on the hunt. Great shot too! Well done hunt and video!

Edit: maybe I missed it but did you mention which cartridge you ended up using on that bear?

Seen a few videos praising the federal
Hammer down 270gr out of a lever gun. I wonder how the 305gr hornady xtp would do. Should be a bit slower and hold together better at short range I would think.

What an awesome and professional video, not only on the extensive 44 Magnum testing, but a good harvest, and quick kill on that blonde colored bear. :D

Thank you for sharing with us!(y)

Great job Brobee! On the video, the hunting itself, the info etc. Wicked scenery out there. And congrats on the nice bear.

Been curious about trying the 44 mag lately, but always great to see your videos on any topic

tough bear, thats a lot of moaning and groaning with no heart behind it if it was a one shot kill
also curious which bullet did the deed...
good production too, I like the slow pan and slow rise effects

Nice! As 44mag is often my bear defense caliber it's nice to see your findings. 184dcc09-14ed-4f57-8047-0b9a4d1ad212-1_all_2754.jpg
Mares leg or Ranch hand style as the closest thing to a pistol I have. Trail clearing, berry picking or packing the canoe in somewhere it's my first choice and you've upped my confidence. ☆Thanks☆
