Well looks like we are done our last MCS prototype.
The MCS M4 stock.

This is just the production prototype, but the last key item for the full stock option
As the speedfeed MCS stock has long been discontinued. And Daviis -speedfeed is out of business.
Made from 4140 steel and Milspec aluminum.

These will be available as adaptor only or wirh A2 grip M4 milspec tube and magpul MOE stock.

Eta sometime in September .

Looks like they stayed pretty faithful to the original design, going off this picture of an MCS with the m4 stock setup.
As always awesome job SJ Hardware!

Looks to be a two-piece design (takedown portion added onto the "receiver block") vs one piece/single metal block from the factory, which I'm sure makes the manufacturing process easier. Just an observation I had.

If I may make a small suggestion to ease in takedown (as you're in the prototype stage)? The original factory MCS stocks have a slightly larger indent/recess/radius around the takedown pin and the pins themselves stick out just a fraction of an inch. Would require a bit more machining, but the takedown is a lot easier as it allows your thumb to push in further. Just my .02 and just trying to help. Love the work you guys are doing.

Any more word on MCS barrels? Or for that matter, original-style (two piece threaded) MCS magazine extensions (factory or S&J) for 14 and 18" or the barrel picatinny attachments?

Awesome job as always guys!

You are correct on all points.

It is a 2pc design, not to save money but to save weight.
The ( receiver block") is 4140 steel and the back end is 6061 aluminum.
The aluminum will be milspec hard anodised then cerakoted to match the block.
Then pressfitted and bolted togeather.

We are using the receiver block as a universal base to converting butstocks, meda urbino, magpul sga, house, Shockwave grips, and now the M4 Adaptor.

Currently we do still have a bunch of the receiver blocks.
When they run out we will then make those changes you listed.
As we missed that when we started .

As for barrles that still remains a problem, currently they are made under contract for us.
But the plan at some point would be to make them in house.
If we manage to weather the current government.

I don't need to tell anyone here how much trouble the gun industry is in.

But I will tell you. Take what you think you know and tripple it.
You are going to see some major players leave the market in 2025...
