Lockhart Tactical Conspiracy Update, BUT WAIT, THERE's MORE!

I don’t think this will be a big seller. Weird design if you ask me. Esides, it’s still black and scary.
A vertical type grip lever handle would make more sense then the lever loop.... but then a pump would make even more sense again.

It would be better if they just did an M16 with straight-pull bolt in the style of an original AR10 but without the heat from the bolt. Some of these hurt my pancreas.

I am biased against lockhart though, im a victim of their literal thievery.

If you want a manual action ARish type rifle the Taipan X pump action is a pretty good platform. They are performing well for me. I'm assuming this front mounted lever action design is a late April Fools joke?

Good. I totally support them wasting their money to design and build these. The company is clearly too stupid to realize that guns aren't being banned because of their action, but because of how they look.

Where can I get one of these surveys? I have nothing but encouragement for them!

Make the A2 grip the lever or the magwell the pump. even making the lever operate in the opposite direction would be better, I think.

Maybe they designed it to self load if your holding the lever and when you fire the recoil lifts the barrel and works the action lol

But wait! There's more.

The third survey came out and now they are offering 3 types of action; lever, pump, and straight pull. Looks like they will be doing the Gold / Platinum thing again.

I would consider a pump or a straight pull with a shorter barrel and a folding sock.

If there were any guarantees with the rcmp lab, maybe worth considering. The pump or straight pull anyways. Purchasing a lever action tactical looking rifle for 2k and having it prohibited to "safe queen", I wouldn't feel like 'oh well at least I still have it', id more likely be pissed that I had been tricked into buying a "safe ditch pig". And why don't companies submit them to the 'experts' before taking our money? Maybe my own personal opinion but not so sure all the companies coming to market with these cope options have anything but a quick sell - make a few bucks mindset and not our best interests in mind.

You think that having an FRT entry that says non-restricted one day, will prevent 'the lab' from changing it the next? As a gun owner in Canada I think you need to come to terms with the fact that all guns, to varying degrees, are subject to bans at the whim of horse cops, politicians, and government sponsored lobbyists.

I wonder if it has some type of spring assist to help it go into battery as the the gold level doesn’t come with either a bolt release or a last round bolt hold open but the platinum does.

That would be a ##### to bench shoot..

EDIT: Oh come on, that's not even a bad word. I was referring to a female dog ;)
