An accurate SKS would be a nice change.
Years ago at shotshow, there was a 9mm rifle. Pulling the trigger drew the breech block backwards until it released slamming forward, clambering and firing a round without extraction. Because the energy from the firing of the cartridge was not used to prepare the next round for firing (no cycling), it is not a semi auto.So why all the lack of innovation in designing replacements to the semi?
Haven’t they defined what a semi is and if I understand that right (which is unlikely) why hasn’t some one considered making a pneumatic gas system (CO2 cartridge) activated by a secondary switch on the forearm independent of the trigger and trigger hand?
Trigger finger makes it go bang, supporting hand finger racks it.
Independent requiring two actions from opposing appendages to cycle and fire which doesn’t sound semi automatic by definition to me.
Or does regulation say all motion has to be driven manually from the operator and that external force is banned?
Just kind of curious…both to if it’s already banned and if not how long it would take for them to ban it…
This, in 308 would be incredibleI think Lockhart should make something like this;
