900m F-TR Match

Shot my first 900m F-TR Match this weekend. Scored okay. 200.20x Bergers.


Relay 1 69-1V
Relay 2 68-0V
Relay 3 68-2V
Relay 4 65-1V
Relay 5 64-3V

My score dropped similarly with the other shooters, some environmental interference. Just need more trigger time to jump into the 70s hopefully

I have one of those stocks too. They actually shoot pretty nice for how much they cost. Mine is a long action and I don’t have the action any more so it’s sitting on my bench.

Yeah the 80% in trigger reduction should hopefully help bring some 4s into the 5 and 5s into the X hahaha.

Sightron 10-50. I like it! Bit hard to see the dot sometimes however!

Give it just a wee nudge to get the dot to dance and once you’ve spotted it settle it on the V bull.

The lighter trigger alone will get you a few more 5 s and V Bulls
I run 4 oz on my F open rifles and my Savage FTR 308 is at 7 oz - that’s as low as I can get it but it is clean ?
I have a couple of S111 Sightrons Zero stop MOA -2 reticles I like them
Everything is hard to see way out there

I also have a new rear bag coming with slick silver and 1.75" spaced ears to match this stock. Should be a huge upgrade over what im using.

This is my SEB bag its width is just right for my McMillan stocks and others .
The 100 % desert sand packs hard into a bag and is heavy .

I've installed a 5oz JARD trigger. Very excited to get back out with that

Put some bedding compound in this chassis, Threw a Sphur 4002 on it for fun. Seems to be a bit tighter. But its all withing a % variation!
