Price out injection molds for the mcs forend lolS&J should turn these into MCS clones
Thought this aswell but best guess they purchased "X" amount of complete 870s, set some aside for the MCS project and then parted out the remainders to have extra components they may need in the future... Again just a guess thoughS&J should turn these into MCS clones
$74kPrice out injection molds for the mcs forend lol
Because you didn't give a price.I'm glad someone gets it.
I do love gow eveyine is giving there opinion abot us charging to much before we have even offered a price.
The price will be $250 if we even offer these hereto amount of angry pissed off people on can nowadays is just crazy.
Bbb
It's obvious you don't know anything about our company or how we operate.Because you didn't give a price.
You wanted people on here to put out the first numbers, so you could potentially charge more if those numbers were high.
It makes you look like a ####.
I'm not necessarily saying you do.It's obvious you don't know anything about our company or how we operate.
We don't do that.
With an 18 score of negative trader ratings, others would beg to differ! It's obvious you don't know anything about our company or how we operate.
We don't do that.
And then there's those optics...With an 18 score of negative trader ratings, others would beg to differ!![]()
Indeed it is.And then there's those optics...
I for one have no issue with a retailer gauging interest in a product they are on the fence about investing their own capital to bring to market, and if you thought you could sell them for 250$ with a cost of 25$ to bring to market, good for you. I believe in free market capitalism and if the firearms retailers of this once great nation can get a win, good for them. We should be happy for others when they can get ahead. For all the haters, get out there and source goods and services and bring them to market at a better value than the competition, that's how you can stick it to them. It's obvious you don't know anything about our company or how we operate.
We don't do that.
I've been on gunutz since, before the beginning almost 25yrs.With an 18 score of negative trader ratings, others would beg to differ!![]()
I too have been on Gunnutz since it's creation back in 2004. I officially joined in 2007.I've been on gunutz since, before the beginning almost 25yrs.
Have done, business wirh probably 50,000 people , I'm not worried about the feedback, no one uses it anyway.
If you have a problem call me.
Or I can always call you as I have your information.

Hey, just curious?I too have been on Gunnutz since it's creation back in 2004. I officially joined in 2007.
18 years plus and no negative trader ratings. With lot's of transactions under my belt, I make sure my customers are 100% satisfied. Even if this means I loose money to keep a customer happy. Even if that customer is wrong, or is an @ss-hole. LOL
I have seen the occasional transaction on here where folks do not leave any kind of rating, but are few and far between.
When I had my own gun shop which I created and ran for close to four years, I also made sure my customers were totally satisfied and happy.
This gun shop I speak of had nothing to do with my private membership here on Gunnutz. I serviced an area of approximately 50,000 people, had about 3500 regular customers and sold between 1000-1200 firearms per year. My best year we grossed 3.2 million dollars, where as the average sales year brought 2.8 million in gross sales.
Your statement that no one uses the feed-back score or trader rating is false. You would not have 612 positive ratings and 18 negative ratings if no one used this system. It was designed to allow perspective buyers on how you do business, and if one can be trusted.
You should be concerned about both the positive and negative ratings attached to your profile. This is only my opinion though.
I have no problem with you at all actually. However you started this thread, while fishing for ideas on your Remington receiver. Not everyone is going to agree on the outcome. Get over it......
I have read the negative trader ratings on your profile, they are not good. If half of those customers were wrong, and I'm being generous at that, it still leaves 9 folks who feel they were treated unfairly.
I understand one cannot please everybody, however it's how you handle an upset customer is what set's the bar very high. You can run your business any way you want my friend, but 100% customer satisfaction will go a long way in my opinion.
Take care Bbb.....

That’s actually a great question, I’m glad you asked.Hey, just curious?
If your customer service was so good and was a pillar of the way you do business…Why did you only last 4 years???
I know lots of retailers…..some with very unhappy customers, that last decades? 4 years is not a very long time at all?
“The customer is always right” is more of a corporation type mindset where you can bleed profits to have unhappy customers come back. You have to have a standard set of policies and stand by them (one of those is make money)
It doesn’t work as well with smaller retail stores to have the “customer is always right” policies. We just don’t have the volume of sales to do that, keep everyone happy, keep the doors open and keep enjoying what we do. There are people in this day and age that just love to be advantageous of things like that and it’s not always easy.
We got a sporting goods store as well. selling firearms since 1989. Lost tons in 95 bans and 2020 onwards bans. It’s still going strong as we are adaptable. Not everyone can be a happy customer. We can’t be the cheapest out there but we must be doing something right to be still going.
We offer a friendly environment with products that people want. I for one, enjoy supporting the companies that are doing things like this.
I am interested in a stripped 870P receiver. I appreciate the unique things S&J bring to the market for us. Have all my transactions gone smoothly? No. But I will still choose to buy what I want when I want and if I don’t like the price, I don’t comment and I don’t buy.
There is not much sense getting into a pissing match in the threads.
Be better than this to our firearm industry.
Hi John,That’s actually a great question, I’m glad you asked.
The fellow who was my financial backer sold the business and moved to Nova Scotia.
In addition I retired for medical reasons.
I still dabble in the hunting/ shooting sports industry, but only as a hobby.
Although you are correct about people arguing on this website, unfortunately it’s a situation where many folks are unhappy.
The current pressure the corrupt government puts on folks makes a lot of gun owners a little edgy.
Lots of WOKE fools also are now on here to create chaos.
I’m glad your business does well. Congratulations!…
For the record, I never stated that the customer is always right. I said 100% customer satisfaction was my goal. Some of my customers were wrong, and we’re @ss-holes. However, it’s how one handles these situations sets the bar high.
Take care,
John
