Anyone have any experience with the Bifrost stocks? just wondering how they compare to the aluminium chassis. Watched a couple of yt reviews and they claimed the bifrost stocks "moved less" than aluminium in different temps.

No but I shoot Savage BVSS wood, MDT HS3 aluminum and Bell&Carlson M40 fiberglass/composite year round and don’t see any difference that isn’t clothing or velocity/powder charge related.

I have an SSG 3000 that is in a Bifrost stock.
It’s been in there about a year and I’ve shot it in below freezing and plus 30 temps.
It’s a pretty thermally stable platform from what I can tell.

I find no real change from the stock outside what I would expect in differing temps and pressures on the rounds performance itself.

I have a Tikka CTR 223 in a Bifrost stock. Indoor shooter so no comments about temperatures. The stock itself is really nice. While I thought I'd always be a "thumbshelf" grip guy, I found it to be super comfortable and better with the ergonomics. I also have another Tikka in a KRG Bravo and can definitively say that the Bifrost is better. My only regret was not having bought the "Warg" that had the mlok front. The attachment choices isn't as good without it... i.e.: can't use the GRS Bipod to its full potential.

I did a Savage up in 6.5x55AI. It is my go to hunting rig and has shown absolutely no changes in POI from +10 to -30. It cannot speak enough praise about how nice it is to have a gun that fits my gangly arms and mediocre shoulders.

I even scored it during the Oktoberfest Sale which softened the blow.

I talked myself out of a Bifrost due to the front end of it, want to install an Arca rail, same problem with a Woox, shame, been some good deals around lately. Guess I'll jut wait for the MDT sale (Nov?).
