Prices Going up October 1st 2025

Thanks Suther.

You have eloquently demonstrated my points on both the necessity, and the difficulty of Co-Operation.
"Just do what I think is right and we'll get along" is not cooperation.

Either you're disingenuous about wanting to help, or you're a useful idiot for those who don't want to help. If the Right gets their way and cuts funding for refugees they won't give it to Canadians who need housing, they'll give tax breaks to the middle and upper class. If anything Canadians in need will see services cut - just look at disabled people in Alberta, they've been ####ed hard twice by the UCP just this year.

Most of those people aren't refugees. Imagine being so far right you can't distinguish immigrant from refugee.
Economic migrants coming for a hope of a better life. Similar to the foreigners that arrived many years ago looking for a better life of prosperity.

It's interesting that the first Europeans to arrive in many cases received charity and with out it they would have perished.... it could have been because the people were just naturally charitable to strangers, but more likely they were in awe and confused by just how foreign these aliens were!

In hindsight maybe they should have been more mindful of the possible negative impacts these newcomers would bring.

The natives back then shared what they had in both materials and knowledge..... currently the natives of Canada(people born in Canad) are not sharing what we have, were borrowing money we don't have. In doing so were sabotaging the future of the next generations.

Typical White man logic. We can learn from the past and do better together. Or not.
