Not bad. I missed out on one two months ago and the store wanted $2350 before tax. Now if I could only sell my trapper in 44mag to free up some funds.

We need to see more 444 Marlins on the market, it's a 44 Mag on steroids. Had a 45/70 and sold it for a 444 and never looked back.

Check out the Marlin 1895 SBL, its closer to the length you want. Although I don't think it comes with the Magpul ELG Stock, you could surely set it up with it.
