Hi guys,
Anyone try out the META tactical Glock Chassis? I’m in the search for a chassis now that everything except my handgun is banned!
I was looming at Meta and also Recover.

(Note, i had to create a new user name as my old account was with an email addy i no longer use!)
Cheers

So looking at the MX1
The kidon looks good, my main concern is the lack of a safely on these units. Recover seems to have a safety, although not sure how it works

I use a Kidon with my Shadow 2 and the safety on the pistol is accessible / usable. The chassis could be trimmed a little with a dremel to make it more accessible if required but I haven't bothered.

I put an AR buffer adjustable type stock on mine and it feels like a shorty AR. My Caldwell brass catcher works with it too which is an added bonus (better than chasing brass around)

Isn't the safety on a Glock built into the trigger?

The Meta makes no sense in Canada. It was specifically designed to not run afoul of US SBR laws and there is no such thing here.

There are numerous smaller, more compact and svelte chassis for handguns available to us, that will be way less expensive because they don't include a goofy 16" barrel.

The MX1- is very short, basically fits the handgun in the chassis with a skeleton stock.

The Glock does have the trigger safety, which i perfect for when inserted into a holster, however, not sure id trust it so much dangling across my gear, id prefer some sort of"hard, selectable" safety.

Or, the (included) 16" barrel makes for a unique proposition in Canada right now. More punch on target is always fun, threaded for muzzle devices, and the META has easily adjustable LOP. All unique kit features, and price isn't the worst either.

Sure it's not going to rival a high end PCC, but all kits have issues and compromises - even the Flux Raider. E.g. incompatibility with slides with mounted optics, accuracy consistency out of handgun barrels, chassis or stock flex, LOP, etc. It's what we've got.

see the recover tactical P-IX appears to have a selectable safety.. although not sure how that works:

Probably just blocks the trigger from moving?

Glock triggers aren't the greatest and now you're adding a linkage to the chassis trigger?... that sounds... not great...

I've been using the Recover Tactical chassis with a 1911, they make them for glocks as well, had to file a few rough spots
but every thing works as advertised. Just keep a close eye on you're support hand or should I say fingers

That was something I thought about. Or it could end up "ventilated".

I can highly recomend the kpos scout seems to hold zero when pistol is removed from the chassis and returned have about three thousand rounds through this set up with zero failures of any kind

That’s also cool , same pistol safety system though. Do you sling the Scout? If so, how do you ensure safety from something getting into the trigger area?
