Safety Orange Mossberg 500!

I don't mind it especially for a camp gun. Easy to find when the time comes.

All my axes have the bright orange duck tape wrapped around the handle for easy find and my Benchmade Saddle Mountian knife I use for processing deer has a orange sheath and orange accented handle. Makes them easy to find in the field.

I plan to get a magpul foregrip and modify it to fit my 590A1.

Nice shotgun! I have Magpul on my M500 as well. While I can't exactly say I like the orange, I certainly appreciate the utility of blaze orange on a camp gun. Couple questions:

1) Does that light mount get in the way of your hand?
2) What mods did you do to the fore-end to make it fit? I machined mine back so it overlaps the reciever (like the factory wood), which also created room to place a light mount on the magazine tube.

1) not particularly. I dont find it a problem

2) just used a hole saw to remove material on the front and back to make it fit! Mine sits flush with the front of the receiver when its pumped back

Never understood why that clunky looking Magpul is so popular.

I didn't either until I got my hands on one. They don't look great, but they feel absolutely great in the hands and at the shoulder. Their Hunter 10/22 stock has thr same grip angle and the same type of buttstock and, for me, they feel great and I'd never go back to a traditional style stock after using them.

Like everything, taste is up the individual. But to me, they're absolutely awesome and worth a try.

That is about as close as looking at a ahotgun has come, to making me throw up. The black/orange shotguns like this belong more in the black/green forum than in the sporting shotgun forum.
well it's a mossberg considering the the market that is targeted it proves ghat people will spend money on junk and then spend more money to make it ugly
