Another vote for the Kidd 2 Stage. My build is only ever shooting targets, 8oz per stage with a great wall to brace against before the 2nd stage breaks. For hunting the single stage would be better...

I use to buy all my Kidd triggers and barrels from Dlask but I’ve heard he is retiring and shutting down!!

Yeah, Dlask is out of stock….the only other option I can find is A ####h Armoury so far, and Calgary shooting centre that has no stock

Thats the exact pull weights i had on my 2 stage trigger lightest trigger out there and tony guarantees total safety even for hunting use

If the a armoury has it listed they will get it to you ive used them a number of times for stuff i cant source in canada

Kidd 2 stage, not cheap but well worth it. Best trigger on any of my rimfires other than the factory trigger on my Anschutz match rifle.

I really like the flat shoe triggers vs traditional curved. Not sure how much of a factor that is for OP.

KIDD vs TK kit.
I really like the uber flat trigger shoe on the TK kit. My older Brimstone unit came with a very similiar trigger shape, just not serrated. Its great.

The KIDD trigger shoe isn't quite as flat as the TK . My Kidd single stage unit has this trigger. However i also find it a great overall contour. I really do like the ability to change springs on the KIDD kit.

So I am thinking on getting either a TK or Kidd for the next 10/22 due to how expensive complete triggers have become. Now I am not sure which kit due to the above. First world problem.
Hmmmm...maybe try both?

I remember when the Kidd triggers first came out (from hanging around RFC),
and guys would try to adjust them (fiddle with them), and almost all ended up going back to Tony for "re-ajustment".
Moral of the story, if you have a Kidd, don't f#*k around with it, it's 'perfect' the way it is.

That’s what I had read too but curiosity got the best of me it’s not that bad. Actually it was quite simple on the Two stage. I haven’t messed around with a single stage.

To quote myself from my 2017 trigger comparison test (linked above):
"The Kidd single stage has the best subjective trigger feel and a beautiful, high quality alloy housing. If price were no object, every 10/22 I own (except my benchrest rifle) would have this trigger." FYI my benchrest rifle has a Kidd 2 stage.

Dlask did an excellent trigger job on my original trigger. Better than the bx trigger.

Bx is good enough for me. Only upgrades I did on my 10-22s. Affordable too.
If I was into competitions or making money with it, I'd probably go for the kidd.

Yes, it is...which in my case at least means that I will fire it probably 50x or 100x as much as any centerfire I own. I want my .22's to have quality triggers and optics; why would I accept crap on a rifle that will be used constantly?

I've had Timney, Volquartsen (I assume they make their own triggers for their rifles), and I think a couple of others...no Kidd, though. My favourite 10/22 trigger is an OEM one that was worked over by a local 'smith about 35 years ago. I have no idea how many thousands or tens of thousands of rounds it has fired, which may have something to do with the fact that it is one of the most spectacular hunting triggers I have used, at least the equal of my Blaser centerfires...which means really, really good.

Over the years this rifle has had replacement barrels, extractors, stocks...lots of stocks...charging handles, mag releases, you name it. The trigger, which was the first mod I did way back when, is the only mod that has never felt like it needed an upgrade.
