I received this beauty as a birthday gift from my wife and I’m wondering which Picatinny rail I should consider.
I’m new to shooting bolt-action rifles, so I’m looking for recommendations from folks who know more.
I checked Cabela’s options, but their reviews don’t look great.

The rifle is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, so from what I’ve researched I’ll need a short-action rail.

Cheers!

First thing to avoid disappointment is to determine the screw thread size for the bases.
They could be 6-48 or 8-40, Savage use both sizes on various models with no consistency.
If it's 8-40, I may have a new Leopold 20MOA in the bin that I ordered incorrectly I'll let you have for cheap lol.

Haha, yeah I read a few threads on that as well. I’ll keep you in mind. Can’t you return it or are you like me and throw receipts as soon as you have them in your hand?

I figure it's going to either come in handy for me down the road, or I'll hook someone else up with it.
Not going to start a FS thread for a $50 item lol.
