I am selling a collection for a friend in palliative care.

I need advice on prices.

a) good, complete German K98
b) good complete K43
c) extra K43 mags
d) 1935 Argentine Mauser near mint, no bayonet
e) k98 converted to 30-06

Post some good photos of the rifles in question. There are lots of guys here who can tell you what they are worth. K98's are worth big money if original with matching serial numbers, ditto for the K43. The .30/06 K98 may be a Norwegian which is fairly desirable to collectors as well. The South American Mausers are fine rifles and under appreciated by most.

definitely need pics, or at bare minimum a description, as long as you know what you are talking about.....and by this i mean, dont say matching numbers if its post war numbering, you must know the difference to state matching numbers.

I basically only collect ww2 german rifles, feel free to PM me. Id say I can host pics, but Im headed to europe so no computer for me for a bit.

As Andrew just pointed out, it's going to be very difficult for us to lend you any assistance with the minimal amount of info you've provided.

1) K98... What does "good complete" mean? Typically a "good complete" Russian Captured K98 would be somewhere in the $500-650 range while a "good complete" matching rifle may be in the $1500+ range.

2) K43... Same issue as above. Anywhere from $1000 to $3000 depending on configuration and condition.

3) K43 Mags... perhaps a couple hundred bucks?

4) Argentinian Mauser... Probably $400-$550 (this is pure speculation on my part).

5) .30-06 K98... More info needed but if it's a Norwegian rework probably $700-$1000 depending on condition/serial numbers.

It's important to remember that these are just rough estimates, nothing is set in stone. Some collectors may feel that the prices I've quoted are way to high while others may think I've undervalued them. If you need any further assistance don't hesitate to pm me.
