STOWAWAY Rifles 5.7 are in stock and ready to ship

It’s a short range gun. Anything that lobs a chunk of lead at even 1500 fps will make it super attractive. The 5.7 isn’t. Ever hit a hare broadside with a 17 hmr? Probably triple that damage, but unless you brain a deer, I don’t see it taking it down.. .357 or even .45 acp would be awesome. .44 mag would be great but it might be too much. .357 would be great as you can do a soft lead 125 @ 700 to a hp 158 at 1500-2000 depending on bravery.

Super excited for the pictianny stock adaptors, What would be the legality of running a short barrel and a stock?

Sorry for the lack of comms but I have been away for a while

Yes, we intend to bring in more barrels for both calibers, short and long.
Yes, we are bringing in the Picatinny Buttstock Adapters.

All this is already on order, sadly we are waiting on DMA to get back to us for ETA, I know they have been busy lately working on the next caliber for this rifle.
What caliber are they working on? 22LR, 223 Rem?

Overall length must exceed 26" folded as small as possible. You would definitely need a fixed stock design to have one of the short Pistol barrels installed.

Hi there, US shows these in stock. Are there any chances to place an order now?

Could you tell us what is the next caliber?

Curious what height scope mounts are you folks using?
This is my setup. The MicroPrism comes with a few different height mounts and I don't recall which one I used.
Going from the stock 5.7x28mm long barrel to the 9mm short barrel did not require any adjustment on the scope at 13.5m.
There is a bunch of my family/friends that go shooting together and we make a morning of it. Lots of very cool pistols and rifles to play with.
The amount of positive comments this little unit gets, particularly in 5.7x28mm long barrel, is pleasantly surprising.

Is this configuration restricted?
Pretty sure the gun is restricted with the short barrel, so you could have the gun with the long barrel non restricted and then at a gun range put on the short barrel and use it for a couple hours, and then replace the longer barrel for the trip home and storage. If you decide to leave the short barrel on you have a certain period of time within which you can apply to change the status of the firearm.

As long as you don't remove the stock entirely, or replace it with a folding/collapsing stock, it stays NR with either length factory barrel.

Right on, I'm surprised it's long enough... what's the over all length with the short barrel?
Just eyeballing the picture and imagining a 13" length of pull.... it looks under 26"
