Does anyone know the Diemaco lower that came with the Colt IUR rifles. There is no C7/C8 identification. Only a maple leaf and a serial number, the Diemaco symbol, "Licensed under Colt MFG", made in Canada.

Because C7 and C8 are military designation.

Would been Colt Canada SA15.7 or SA 20.

Also interested in this.
So the IUR models were Sa15.7 and sa20 even with the IUr upper ?
Lower are the same no matter what. Could have a SA 20 with a 15.7" upper. Or a 15.7 with a 20 inch.

IUR came with a 10.5" barrel as well. They first came to market as upper only. So could used any colt canada lower. So really dont know.

Yes, there were no other markings. Correct Only a maple leaf and a serial number, the Diemaco symbol.

The lower would have been assigned a barrel length in the registration - 15.7 IUR, same as the MRRs, -MRR 11.5, MRR 14.5, 16 and 18.5

Most of the stand alone lowers were unmarked, just the maple leaf and SN. The IUR rifles had these as well. The limited run SA15.7 and SA20 were marked as such. C7 and C8 are reserved for mil only lower receivers.
