I took mine apart and I found the hammer surface, that’s operated on by the back of the bolt, to be quite rough. I didn’t do anything to smooth it out as I generally don’t like fixing what isn’t broken.

Agreed on the hammer spring being stiff. A larger charing handle would help. I may pull mine apart and do some polishing on some surfaces, I find that makes a huge difference especially on the trigger components.

Maybe that’s just how it runs? I’ll try some stingers next. Maybe it’ll break in enough to run CCI Semiauto Subsonics. I hope so.

26.3 inches long by my measurements. It’s compact and handy. Seems really well built.

Just ordered a white one too. If only it had the magazine coming in from the left side - it’d be so Stormtrooper! Wouldn’t hit anything, but fun. 😂

Mine really likes CCI Minimags & Stingers. I tried SK Match & SK Longrange and they would stovepipe. So it seems to like hotter rounds. But very happy with the accuracy. This is CCI Minimags at 20 yrd leaning on my truck.

Its just a small insert that goes over the top of the 597 mag. I prefer to run it with 597 mags, but the other ones work fine too, I just really dislike 10/22 mags. only a couple of malfunctions with 500 rounds. Seems to like everything so far. I hope to find CCI semi auto quiets to give them a try. Its louder than longer barrel 22s for sure.

So your adapter works as it should with 597 mags?

I was under the impression, from a YouTube review, that they don’t work.

I’ve not tried it myself.
 
Dang..would Love to know if these are working with 597 mags. Sucks that the higher caps. are all Pro-Mag. I avoid pro-mag, as much as possible.{they usually suck!}
Hopefully someone in here can Update/has tested various 597 mags.
 
What's the trigger situation? Could a guy put Ruger trigger packs in it?

I've been shooting a Ruger SR-22 for a long time, and wished I could pick up another one as a backup. There aren't a lot of 22s with AR ergos available. This thing seems to check the boxes, iiiif it doesn't suck.
 
Some post a vid or pic of the bolt. Would it take a Tandemkross/Volquartson extractor, firing pin, other parts? Main springs and extended charging handles etc?
