Looking for a new pair of binos and have narrowed down to these three, Zeiss Conquest HDX, Leica Trinovid HD or Vortex Razor. All will be 10x42. Which of the 3 would you guys pick and why?
Why?not vortex
Not in the budgetSwarovski
Conquest?I have had Zeiss binos for a number of years and I don't even look at other glass. They have been amazing. When it comes to optics, buy once, cry once.
Not in the budget
Conquest 10x30.Conquest?
I have a pair of Vortex 8x42 Diamondbacks. No issues and were not a big dollar purchase. I've had them about 15yrs now.not vortex
I have had a number of Vortex Viper and Razor scopes and have never had any issues with them. Also those models not made in China.good bad or indifferent that's fine you are the exception to the rule
mostly i don't support chinese
Viper are for sure Chinese made. Vortex Razor are now "assembled" in the Phillipines so at least they made a partial step up. Previously the Razor box said China. Arent Razors very close to same or higher price than Zeiss Conquest?I have had a number of Vortex Viper and Razor scopes and have never had any issues with them. Also those models not made in China.
If there is a legit reason not to buy Razor binos I would be happy to hear it
None of my vortex products i have ever owned said made in China on them. Let's stick to first hand experiences guys.Viper are for sure Chinese made. Vortex Razor are now "assembled" in the Phillipines so at least they made a partial step up. Previously the Razor box said China. Arent Razors very close to same or higher price than Zeiss Conquest?
Vortex has that warranty for a reason. Maybe you won't ever need it but its kinda like having a seat at the table for a game of Russian Roulette.
