Thanks for the info. Where are you buying your Leupold rings? Can’t seem to find any in stock

I usually call Korth for Leupold stuff I can’t find. Quite often they can tell you where they have sent that particular product recently. Or they can tell you who to contact in your area to order them.

The M77 & MKII/Hawkeye both have the angled front anchor bolt, but the inletting is completely different, so make sure any stock you order is for the Mark II or Hawkeye. Your best bet and most reasonably priced option is the B&C that you don't like the feel of... PR carries them. I agree that the wrist is ever so slightly thicker than I would prefer, but small trade off. The weight is not more than the standard laminate and I would bet, lighter than the Hogue. Personally, I don't give a ratz azz about weight. I have several of the B&C stocks on MKII rifles and they have been great.

Sweet looking rifles there. May I ask what bottom metal and caliber the top rifle is? I believe a mkII build may be coming up for me and this is exactly what I was envisioning. Short barrel, stainless, irons, and I’m thinking 375hh but may keep 338wm unsure right now

The top rifle is a .458 Win Mag with 20" Bob Jury barrel, NECG sights, Alaska Arms Coffin Mag plate, B&C stock and it now wears a Leupold VX-3HD 1.5-5X20 IR scope.

Thanks for the info. Sweet rifle. Like I said I have a build in mind that i hope to turn out like yours except 375hh. Do you mind me asking who did the smith work for you?

I have a similar build in a .350 Rem Mag. In the original picture, the bottom rifle is a .375 WSM.
