Hi I am considering this rifle but am looking for information on its performance in the field. Pro vrs Cons.
 
I don't have a 7mm, but really like my 6.5C so far. Doesn't need a chassis, feels great, excellent magazines, very accurate. 25 year warranty on the BEST finish.
 
Pro: A very pleasing rifle, well built, functions flawlessly and great cartridge. Con: Barrel to light, will heat-up fast, more felt recoil.

Beautiful rifle and plenty accurate - if you like how its setup and don't want/need any aftermarket you will be happy.

Yeah I think now a day 5.5 is light 7.5 is average and above 9 it start to get into the heavies …

From my reading it seems most 7mm mag have some kind of heating problem? My thinking is one shot not multiple shots to put meat on table.
