The HERA H6 bolt-action rifle is the result of practical development and sets new standards in precision, modularity, and handling. Depending on the variant, the H6 weighs less than 2,700 grams; even the suppressed version remains under 3,000 grams. This makes it one of the lightest bolt-action rifles in its class and guarantees fatigue-free shooting, whether on long hunts or in competitive shooting.

The innovative side-loading system ensures minimal obstructions when shooting from a stand or prone position, rapid follow-up shots, and maximum reliability. Available in .223 REM and .300 BLK calibers, the H6 is equally suited for precise hunting and competitive shooting.

The modular M-LOK handguard offers virtually unlimited possibilities: mounting a bipod, shooting tripod, or accessories is effortless. Thanks to full compatibility with all HERA AR15 series handguards, shooters benefit from maximum modularity. Optional handguards with genuine leather wrapping further enhance grip and add a stylish touch.

For transport, the H6 comes standard with a folding stock adapter – compact, practical, and quick to stow. It is complemented by an ergonomic polymer cheek rest and a 5-round magazine manufactured in-house.

Available in black, sand, and olive green, the HERA H6 offers maximum precision, uncompromising quality, and incomparably easy handling.

Now this looks sweet! Sub 6lbs tacticool, AR mags, European. Wonder how it performs though... I can't seem to find any actual reviews of the longer barrel model.

This is the model for which I was lusting ever since the H6 first came out. Now, the big question: can we assume that this gun will not suffer from the numerous magazine/feed-related problems that we read about from buyers of the original longer-barrel model?

Lol, I had to chuckle when the Hera rep suggested that the other guy try out the trigger...and so the guy did it using his thumb! 😲:ROFLMAO:

Review from bats a Canadian gun review channel
Right, I forgot to mention I'd seen this already. It's just a little concerning that this is pretty much the only actual review. From what I've seen/heard, this rifle ain't worth the price tag. I didn't want to assume that will be the case with this new model, especially with such a small sample size of reviews.

Apparently they made some updates and fixes to make a sort of gen 2 so hopefully being that this came out a few laters it has all the updates that fixed the original ones problems.

You'd like to think so, wouldn't you? But then, it would be reasonable to hope that when the first ones came out, they would have been able to feed and function with the magazines that came in the box. That was apparently a vain hope, so...

Well someone has to be the guinea pig and it's not going to be me.

I just picked up a gen 2 Ruger ranch rifle for 987$.

Seems like a better deal.

I put mine up for sale immediately after handling it for 2 minutes, didn't even shoot the thing. Don't forget it's a $500 (usd) budget rifle, we're just getting gouged up here. Not trying to discourage your purchase. People rave about it all the time.

Accurate, reliable, compact, threaded, takes AR mags, aftermarket support, pic rail included, etc the list goes on. Just sucks we have to pay double for it with our lousy dollar. My first rifle being a T3X certainly has spoiled me.

I have a T3x in 308.

This is just cheap to get out and plink / practice with.

If you take the price of the rifle direct from the Ruger USA website its 729.

If you convert that to CAD we actually get the better deal.

Now if you find it on sale for 550-600usd they get the better deal.

I feel like if we had more volume sales like the us we could get more / bigger discounts on firearms.

I am a sucker for short barrel. Really like this iteration of the H6. But like mentioned above, I too need to know it runs with all mags correctly with all stanag mags or else it beats the purpose
