The HERA H6 bolt-action rifle is the result of practical development and sets new standards in precision, modularity, and handling. Depending on the variant, the H6 weighs less than 2,700 grams; even the suppressed version remains under 3,000 grams. This makes it one of the lightest bolt-action rifles in its class and guarantees fatigue-free shooting, whether on long hunts or in competitive shooting.

The innovative side-loading system ensures minimal obstructions when shooting from a stand or prone position, rapid follow-up shots, and maximum reliability. Available in .223 REM and .300 BLK calibers, the H6 is equally suited for precise hunting and competitive shooting.

The modular M-LOK handguard offers virtually unlimited possibilities: mounting a bipod, shooting tripod, or accessories is effortless. Thanks to full compatibility with all HERA AR15 series handguards, shooters benefit from maximum modularity. Optional handguards with genuine leather wrapping further enhance grip and add a stylish touch.

For transport, the H6 comes standard with a folding stock adapter – compact, practical, and quick to stow. It is complemented by an ergonomic polymer cheek rest and a 5-round magazine manufactured in-house.

Available in black, sand, and olive green, the HERA H6 offers maximum precision, uncompromising quality, and incomparably easy handling.

Is there a model with the mag in the usual spot and a side folder the folds inline with the receiver?

:)

Jokes aside, this gun makes more sense with a shorter barrel! Looking forward to some information from the importer/distributor as to whether these guns work better then the first batch!!

According to Duck's ai assist the following was sourced from gunnutz.... :)

I'll wait for some reliability and accuracy reports.. but very tempting to buy.
I think that's probably a good idea, an even better idea would be for North Sylva to send one of to a guntuber to do a 1000 round review and get the ball rolling and sales numbers up!

Do Crossmags work with this version?

These rifles were factory tested with Magpul PMag Gen 3 as well as various USGI metal mags.

No factory testing were done with Crossmags as they are not readily available outside of Canada, but given its history with other AR mag compatible rifles we are not optimistic it will work on this gun.

A pity, as they already break apart into the perfect size for the firearm. I remember seeing a review of them on a German YouTube channel, so they were available there previously.

Edit: below is the German Review:

It sure looks like a handy little package.... the explanation that the side loading was to accommodate German Hunters shooting from blinds with ledge supports to rest the gun on seems a bit far fetched.... maybe with the shorter barrel a hunter would need to slide the gun all the way up to the trigger guard to make sure the barrel is outside the blind... but even that seems like a "stretch".

Same with the " It's also so a guy can lie prone with a 30 round mag and keep a low profile".
If Soldiers were having issues shooting prone with standard 30 round mags in their AR's they would have shifted to side loaders in the 70's.

Looks to me like it's mainly something that's different and unique to be different and unique and there's nothing wrong with that.

As someone that rarely shoots prone with 30 round mags and doesn't hunt from German Blinds with a ledge..... I'd prefer the more standard mag position and a 10 round double stack mag that I can cradle when trail carrying and also use as a vertical grip torque stabilizer when running the bolt.
