First time I've seen them for sale in Canada, I was searching for something else and came across these being sold on the Bass Pro website, not cheaply however. They're normally intended for use in the Judge and Jury handguns, I believe, and contain a slug over two buckshot. I'm thinking they would be great against henhouse coyote for instance, for those that own a .410 shotgun. Did I mention they're not cheap?

I don't own a 410, but I've bought similar from Winchester in 12 gauge. And upon looking they carry the same in 410 as well

These are 17.99 at flaherty’s which is a really good price. Sadly they won’t ship to my location. If anyone local is interested in getting some of these and are willing to pick them up and ship then, let me know.
They shoot well enough to bang a 6 inch gong at 25 yards easily.

Now those are truly weird loads, and packed in just 21/2 inches. I've never seen them before, not even in US gun shops that seemed to be selling a lot of Judge and Jury revolvers.

Been on the martlet for a long time. Winchester no longer sells the slug/buck combo in 12ga it’s just a segmented rifled slug now.

I wonder if that 750 velocity is spec’ed out of a revolver barrel? I’m going to buy a box of the Winchester stuff at least and chrono it from a 26”

This is exciting, actually. I have a little SR 410 revolver, which I love and is my go-to for grouse, but I've also been known to take it camping or hiking because it is small enough to fit in my pack, but although I bring slugs on those occasions, I've always thought it would be nice to have more stopping power. My nearest bass pro is an hour away, but it says they are in stock there so I am going to pick up a couple boxes next time I am there, I will post here to say how they work. thanks for posting!

I prowl the local ammo displays and only found it online and so before driving that hour, or actuall those two hours, I would not just check to see if the store has it in stock, I'd order it online and have it shipped to that store, which shipping is free. To be sure.

Ok, so cabelas was listing this stuff as like $65 a box, but i found 2 boxes at Epps for $29.

Just tried it today.

I thought this piece of 1/2" birch plywood, first shot was around 15', second shot was about 20-25', and the third shot was about 35'.

they all penetrated well, i didn't really notice any recoil, and as you can see the further i was away, the greater the spread.

Bottom line, seems like a good shell.

My only complaint was that the brass base of the shell is a bit tight in my SR410 revolver: i had a lot of trouble getting them pushed in all the way, and even more trouble ejecting them.

Bass Pro + highway robbery = not the first time. If we are talking about boxes of 20 shells and not boxes of 5.
