If you have so much volume, why are you still using CP and not UPS like the rest?

I doubt you could deliver the above mentioned shipments for $33 including insurance. CP insurance prices went up a little bit but not by that much.

It should be a hint when everybody is complaining about your shipping cost.

Don't like shipping costs? Don't buy it.
I've sent multiple parts and firearms through Canada post and am always shock that the calculator is always less than the actual cost. They tack on huge fuel surcharges, and so does UPS, Fedex, Purolator... Shipping ain't cheap in Canada.
I sent out a ruger 10/22 earlier this year and the shipping from Victoria to Winnipeg and it was $80, and all it had was tracking.

You are correct. But Irunguns does not tell you how much the shipping costs are until you already bought the gun. Read my comment above.

What we have found is the shipping is usually higher through the automated shipping module from Canada Post 's API for rifles and multiple items due to different sizes.

In some cases you can see and pay the shipping at the time of purchase, if the system does not allow you to pay it at time of purchase its because we have flagged that UPC which allows us to manually check and input the exact weight and size.

We try very hard to ensure you get the best possible deal and we know shipping in Canada is expensive compared to here in the US.

Point and case we just sent a Barrett MK22 to Shippensburg, PA for what it costs to send a Marlin SBL to Ottawa from Alberta.

So in order to Calculate it and offer the best possible price we manually put the exact dimensions and weight into the system.
