Unfortunately, the Feathers are not from the same distributor as the Deryas listed above.

While both distributors have Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policies, the ones listed above has a MAP holiday from December 22nd to January 3rd. Where the distributor for the Feather models typically does not allow any discounting on MAP items.

is it in fact not the feather version, but the all metal version with non-adjustable stock and short metal handguard (usually 499$)

It appears you may be looking at a different website. On our site, the product [TM22-A-18] refers to the black Feather TM22, which is currently unlisted as it is out of stock. We also do not carry the version with the non-adjustable stock and the short metal handguard.
