Maybe a little misleading, he is holding a 4 bore shell and then shooting a percussion pistol. Not sure what load he shot in the pistol but I have fired a 4 bore rifle with 1850 grain bullets and 400 grains of black powder and it was a way different then the recoil in the video

Very misleading... he did not place that cartridge into the pistol... and the recoil did not seem any worse than a hot load in a 4 inch .44 Mag.

All in all a thumbs down video...
