Pistol chassis. (CZ shadow 2) legal and available?

If by chassis you mean frame, then no. The frame is the firearm, and since there's a freeze on handgun sales (for the most part) you can't get a frame transferred into your name. You can get all the little bits, you just can't get the thing that holds them all together, lol.

I would check the Zahal website, they are in Israel but ship to Canada no problem. They stock numerous types of chassis, they may have what you are looking for and they are fantastic to deal with

He’s likely referring to pistol chassis kits like the Roni or KPOS etc.
Your best option might be the IMI Kidon, I don’t know if CAA makes anything for a 75 they make chassis for the P07 and PO9. You could try importing one from Zahal but CBSA might require a import certificate or something. CRAFM has kidons so you could try reaching out to them if they can get you the c75 adapter.

I've been working on a 3d printed chassis system that works with almost any railed pistol. So far I've got it to work with m&p, glock and sig but should work with all railed CZ pistols as well.

It seems like the Norlite never went into production.
So, if I'm understanding correctly, while all the individual components are accessible, the frame itself is the "prohibited" part due to the handgun sales freeze. It's a bit like being able to buy all the parts for a car, but not the actual chassis it all bolts onto.

The Norlite utilizes your existing pistol frame (which is the legal part of the pistol) therefore there's nothing stopping it from being imported and used in Canada.

They are too expensive even before the import coats. Not competitive with the MechTech. And the company is not interested. They are quite happy with the German market (as per a conversation with them at that same show last time)
I don't know of anyone who actually followed through getting one.
Agreed on the lack of interest. I reached out to them and never even got a response.
Shame as they have a captive market in Canada with almost zero options thanks to the Liberal banners and their product looks good.

The MechTech is the same - carbine upper that replaces the slide of a handgun. Where Norlite is machined, Mechtech uses a pipe for the receiver sort of like the Sterling, Sten etc. Cheaper to make and export from the US is simpler.
I've seen the MechTech around, they were imported to Canada here and there... in fact have one that I picked up at auction - it's an interesting design but not revolutionary.
I don't think the MechTech exists for a CZ...
There's a company that was trying to use the sig p320 fcu as the registered component between a smg and a full rifle (thefirearmblog DOT com/blog/2019/01/30/shot-2019-fire-control-units-x03-a-p320-fcu-based-ar-15/ ) ... But they seem to have stalled...
