Pedersoli Baker Rifle

Just read that Baker will be around $2300 to $2500 USD so If Thats true it s really getting up there for a production muzzleloader especially when you add tax and shipping .Then on the other end is the Kibler Brown Bess kit which is coming out soon and which in the end will probably be cheaper than the Baker and Kibler makes excellent quality kits

I guess another thing a guy has to consider is the Baker needs about 110grs of BP to get good accuracy plus a 62 cal round ball so it won’t t be cheap to shoot for a range gun but it will make a dandy hunting rifle
 
Price, price, price... Some folks buy $4000+ scopes and never complain about price. Good way to put a thread down...

Well I just put down my deposit for a Pedersoli Baker Rifle for the spring shipment .The price of the Baker is $2422 plus taxes and shipping.Actually I think that is not a bad price for this gun.I sold off a couple of guns to get it so basically it cost me nothing ..My wife will be pleased 😆
 
Keep us updated for when you get it! Bakers a dream gun for me, wouldn't mind putting the money down on one if they actually shoot straight. Been burned by a few pedersoli products but the options are slim these days, hoping they make it right with this one!

I understand your caution.I m hoping that since Pedersoli has been promoting the Baker rifle big time that they will make sure the quality control is perfect.I guess it s like every other manufacturer out there today though one never knows until you get it

Bilzor .I contacted Marstar a few times and they said they have the Baker on order but said they couldn t /wouldn t give me a price until they land in Canada.Bilzor is only bringing them in as a custom order and won t be stocking the them on a regular basis.I believe when they arrive they will probably will get snapped up quick

If your thinking of ordering one you have to do it by Monday as the cut off is Tuesday for ordering from Pedersoli for their May shipment.Like I said Marstar is bringing some in but I don’t know how many or what their price will be.I imagine there will be quite a few people lining up to get one

I recently bought a new Pedersoli brown bess. I got it from Shooters choice, and it was almost 1k less than Marstar.
Apparently they are the largest pedersoli dealer/buyer....
Quotes from local shops, from other suppliers, ~3k+

I have to agree Marstar prices always seem to be on the high side at least when it comes to Pedersoli anyway

They had a decent sale on Pedersoli stuff over Christmas. Finally snagged a Sharps rifle for an excellent price.
