Beretta 1301 Tactical question

I believe S&J Hardware sells an adapter for the Magpul stock? They can help with the mag extension also. My go to for chokes is alscornerstore.ca
 
So I ordered a 1301 Tactical ODG color.
I’m ordering a mesa Tactical adapter so I can add a Magpul CTR stock.
Chokes I got an handle on.

So for the extension, it sits flush I presume?

Also was wondering about a barrel clamp?
S&J has one that you can mount a light on , would this be what I’ll need?
Am I missing anything? lol
Is there sling attachments already on the gun?
What would I need to mount an RDS?
What’s a good RDS?
Is there a hand guard available similar to an AR 15 hand guard?
I seen one on g U n post but it said for 1301 comp,so not sure about that?

Most mag extensions for the Tactical model sit flush. Lots of barrel clamp's available, S&J are the Canadian option, and are good. Some other options are Nordic Components, Magpul etc. Sling attachments are already there, but the front one is on the mag cap, so if you add an extension it will delete that. Comes with a picatinny rail for RDS, but if you want to mount lower you'll need an aftermarket one that fits your site's base, and it will replace the factory one. I don't run one personally, but the Steiner seems to be the current favorite. There is a Magpul handguard made by Aridus Industries that is the same one as fits AK's. Don't think it comes in ODG though. Comp and Tactical handguard's are almost all universal, except for those that go high enough to conflict with the Comps vent rib. The factory charging handle is very good, but Tactical Ordinance's is next level.

If you are going to use some of our S&J Hardware products here is some info
You sonr need a new spring and follower
But if you got a new 2025 made 1301 , they went from having this very well made follower so somthing that looked like it came from the reject pile of a Turkish gun maker.
Our tubes are 1pc steel not 3pc thing walled aluminum.
Our clamp fits perfect and it comes with the rubber non slip pads.

As others have said, if you go with red sight that a low profile optics plate is the way to go
We also make those for several optics platforms.

Some are bulky some are slim, I can't speak to much on the aftermarket handguards, as I presently use the Mod2 handguard which does everything I need.

Is the mod 2 what comes from factory? That’s what will be on mine right?Do it have that slotted rail/ barrel cover on top ? Or is that something you added?

I’m thinking a slim one would be good

Yes, If you purchased a Mod 2 then the handguard you see in the picture is what comes with the shotgun(without the barricade stops, Picatinny rail, hand stop), the Gen 2 does not come with that handguard.

The barrel heat shield is what I added on.

I ordered it throughout Trinity Supply in California(then modified it to fit, as well as the handguard to accept the barrel clamp tabs), it is made from polymer.

I was going to order some pistol grips from them last week but when I went to put in the country of shipment they don't ship to Canada at the moment because of the tariff spat🥴
