I thought this was pretty neat.

Also, the fastfire has an available "protector mount".

That is pretty neat looking. You getting one nine???

If so, we will need a range report as usual!!!

Cheers

Hmm...I think we need you to get one, so you can make it look amazing with your photography skills. Those pictures quite frankly, are terrible. The blown up picture on the sight doesn't show how it fits with the gun.

How much is that little unit anyways? Something like that shouldn't be more than $70!

It would appear the loop in the second picture mounts between the stock and reciever just like a GG&G single point sling attachment, the side screw in the third pic would be to lock it onto a small rail.
Is it just me or would firing a 12 gauge as shown in the first picture result in a nice broken nose and a scratch on the lens of the shooting glasses from the well placed point at the back of the scope?

It would be interesting to know if the "speedbead" mount will be available separately. (for existing owners).

I am liking the look of the protector mount. It would allow alot more flexibility. (ie multiple platforms)

Could be, though it shouldn't be a problem if you don't choke up on the stock like it appears the guy in the photo is doing. However I wouldn't want to run one of these things with a Hogue Short Shot or other short stock.

Yeah, I saw all that...but I don't know how flush it sits.
It could be a really good mount, it could have a few nasty edges...Maybe not if you got the protector installed though.

on a clear hunting morning with sun rising in front of you, how are you gonna see tru it, is the sun going to reflect in the lens and reduce visibility or compleatly blind you? if so is there a sun shade otherwise it's useless for hunting and general shooting

The situation you are talking about sounds like one that would be unsafe to use ones shotgun in anyway...As the sun will obscure what may be behind ones target.

IMHO this device looks good, and I'd love to try one myself.

Good find Mr. Nine! :)

They had one of these on a Benelli at the Sportsmen show in Toronto, asking price was $375.00 CDN I look through it and it was really nice and mounted nicely to the Benelli SBEII they had it on.

The gun in the first pic at the beginning of this thread is a Benelli.

I found this: Unfortunately, I do not think that any of these sights have been shipped by Burris. I know that demand has been high for them at several dealers. They seem to be priced in the $215.00 - $230.00 range but no one yet, that I know of, has them in stock. These are U.S. prices.
For trap I have been using the Bushnell with the large circle and dot and the centre. It works quite well. All you need is the saddle mount and Bobs yer uncle.
