10/22 photos - post 'em up here!

I considered the xb5 for the Look vs reducing report.
IIRC the xb5 would sit a little proud at the seam when installed so I passed on it.
I'm torn between the 9" vs 12.5" barrel.
9" looks really great but i heard its loud.

12.5" is ok i guess. but more length with xb5 added.
I will probably be ok with the look of 12.5" with the 13" midwest build. but not likely to happen until q4 next year.

A few shorties as of recent, Another one in the works with spare parts too.

Due to mostly boredom over the Holiday's, I decided to swap out the PA Prism 1x for a LPVO 1-4x (that's been sitting around).
I know it looks Ridiculous but I want to see if my 0-30yrd Tuf22 TD can achieve respectable accuracy inside 75yrds.
It's only a temporary swap because I have my bolts that are set up to shoot ragged hole groups......

Still need to figure out what buttstock to use and print a final copy of the handguard. Really love my SBI Superlite chassis otherwise!

Sold most of my 10/22s and all I had left was this Grey Birch RDR 12.5" barreled action lying around. Populated it with a .920" flash hider, Kidd bolt and Dlask charging handle.

Nice. Your design or from the interwebz?

I designed it myself with a custom fit to the Grey Birch Fusion barrel nut, as it doesn't have a V-block.

Before anyone loses their mind (like R*ddit does, lol), no, this does not breach section 102.1 of the Criminal Code as there are no computer models of "firearm" or "firearm parts" involved.

Sweet. I'm working on my own printed 10/22 chassis and have been struggling a bit with the handguard. Can't quite nail down how I want it to feel and then need to fine tune how it mounts to the main body of the chassis.

I would hope no one here gives one tiny little sh!t about S102.1 nor any of the rest of the Lib firearms garbage.

I got my inspirations from the triangular handguards of FALs and G36s. I found that rounded triangle cross-section to be pretty comfy to hold, both with your palm and clamping.

The two "vents" are M-Lok and there's a row of M-Lok slots on the bottom as well. It sure as hell won't hold zero but it's good enough for a grip or for embedding the rubberized Magpul M-Lok covers for extra grip.
