I find the 1-8 strike eagle would get noticeably blurry at 6x+. Does anyone have experience with the higher-tier Vortex ones? similar traits?

Cool scope but too expensive for me. Hopefully some of the features trickle down into a version that costs half as much lol.

cool and all, but the trend towards these ridiculous prices for optics has gotten outta hand. I thought a 1000.00 bucks for a red dot sight was stupid, but its gotten worse. And we know the MSRP won't be the street price which shows the over inflated price. I get dealers need to pay for their business operations, but the shooting game is getting out of hand. much like life right now.

Just seen North Sylvia post the eotech one
Wonder if image quality suffers with a shorter length tube

It all comes down to the quality of the glass and the coating
Vortex has a stellar warrenty for a reason. I think id trust a liberal over a vortex product. Just my experience
