Hello
Not sure if I got the correct terminology I’m looking for the front sights/flashhider for a Jungle Carbine,
Someone apparently chopped off the one that was originally on there

Numrich had the aftermarket copies, might still have some. gunpartscorp.com/

Did someone try to turn that rifle into a parade rifle?

For some reason, back in the mists of time, people hacksawed off the bayonet lugs and flashhiders. Numrich is probably your best bet even though you will pay through the nose for it.
$22 us on numrich, not to bad

Be aware there are a couple. Ones for No5 and one for No4 Conversions.
Yes I seen there were two , one was $22 and other was $58.
I think the more expensive one was a no5 and has the holes pre drilled, whereas the $22 sight is no4 and no holes drilled

Just checked again, they’re both no5
So they won’t work on the NO4?

Just asked my buddy and his is a number 5.
So I guess either will work?

I picked up a Jungle Carbine last year that had the bayonet lug cut off and the cone cut down. I figured it would be an easy fit. Nope I was wrong! I can not find another flash hider with the bayonet lug and a full cone.

Good luck on trying to find one. I have been looking for 1yr now. I can not find one. I bought the Numrich flash hider but it does not fit. The bore is too big. #####h also has one but no bayonet lug.

If you find one please let me know too!

For some reason, back in the mists of time, the flash hiders were butchered. I have owned a couple with the bayonet lug cut off. I can't imagine why someone would go to all that trouble for nothing. It took me quite while to find my latest replacement flashhider. Don't give up. I ended up buying a badly bubbaed carbine with an intact flashhider and swapping it over. There are ways.
