Best non LPVO sight for a Remington 7600 pump

I'm thinking about moving my PA 1x8 LPVO from the 7600 to my 7400.

With a budget to $2000 what's the best fast target acquisition sight for 2 to 150m dinner plate sized targets in normal to low light on the 7600 carbine? I'm not looking for tiny groups just fast hits on the dinner plate with 150gr .308 softpoints.

The irons are zeroed at 25 yards.

It has an IR/visible laser plus white light zeroed parallel to the bore. I run a head mounted PVS14 over my non dominant eye.

If the Blackface OIC bans hold up I will have a UniMax compact IR laser to swap onto it.

Spectre 1x/4x with .308 reticle?

Elcan?

This will not be a high volume carbine. More of a shoot it enough to be comfy with it now that some of my other rifles are banned by Blackface.

Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Your use case sounds a lot like Eotech XPS3 family with magnifier (maybe) but it would look funny/ might not fit on that gun

I'd go with a DNT Zulus HD V2 3-12X digital day night scope with the built in range finder.... not that you will need the rangefinder out to 150 yards!

I think they are only around a grand though so you will end up with money to spare for a new RMR enclosed micro reflex sight from Osight (Osight XR) to play with for rapid aiming at short range use.... :)

Heck you might even have enough spare cash to grab a Primary Arms GLX 1x micro prism along with the Osight XR!

Interesting. They must be good because they're out of stock everywhere.

Elcan has nice glass and field of view but you might struggle mounting it far enough back to achieve proper eye relief - not sure just an educated guess. The PA optic might be a choice because you can get different mounts to bias them rearward.

I suspect red dot of some sort is your best option if you're not shooting that far.

I've been watching them for a while the V2 made some nice improvements over the first version extending the eye relief and improving the view through the screen and re arranging the buttons and controls to a more intuitive layout.

A shipment came in last November and there will likely be more in the coming months. Gives you some time to check out the youtube reviews...

You can also contact Robbie at Shooting Warehouse and see if he has stock, he told me just before Christmas he had a unit in stock despite the website saying otherwise.
