“Juncos”?Out for a short hunt late this afternoon.Saw 2 squirrels,2 juncos and a rabbit.
A small sparrow type bird,quite common in my area.

Yes, much like a chickadee.I see by the chart ,that they are in Alberta,but not year round.Even if they are there ,it does not say if found there in small or large numbers.Kinda like a chickadee. Cool never heard of them before.

We have a bunch of them around the farm we always called them chickadee's or snow birds. They flock up and are always the first ones at the bird feeders along with the bluejays. They hang around all year in these parts. Four crows with the 28 Beretta this week.Kinda like a chickadee. Cool never heard of them before.
Never bagged a crow in my life.I have no reason to shoot them.
I know crows can be pests around farm land.
Very interesting 28 gauge gun.Thanks for posting ,as I was not aware of a 28 gauge self cocking hammer gun.The the gun has a safety ,like on a hammerless gun.

Just curious, what part of the country are you from?No one else bagging any game with their 28 gauge guns?Hard to believe.Would like to hear what 28 gauge you are using and what you are getting.
I live in the foothills of west central Alberta and we don't have rabbits here just snowshoes.
I live in Nova Scotia.What we have here are snowshoe hare ,but everyone here calls them rabbits.Also in my area, we call ruffed grouse,partridge.

Ah ok, we just use a 22 for snowshoes as they mostly just sit there and look at you.
As for grouse everyone around here just calls them chickens.
Use to use the .22 on rabbits most all the time.Now a days ,there are many who use packs of dogs to hunt them,so they are often times quite wild.At least the few that are left and also, you have to get distance from property.So 402 metres with a .22,but only 182 with a shotgun.
