Picked up an old box of C-I-L Imperial 28 gauge ammunition.It is the older C-I-L Imperial box with the orange paper shells head stamped Imperial Canada ,rather than the later style of C-I-L Imperial.

The box looks like the one in the link below,except it is full of BB shot.Kind of a nice old find.

Any one else into collecting old 28 gauge ammunition and/or boxes?

I have a box just like that only it is 3/4 oz. slugs

Cool.I have used some of my old 28 gauge orange paper shells from time to time,but for the most part, I just look at them and enjoy them that way.:)

The first 28 gauge shells I used, were the orange paper ones with the yellow C-I-L Imperial box, with the blue crescent on the front.They cost a whopping $3.65.

Getting harder all the time, to find the old orange paper 28 gauge shells.They were a great shell.Still work well on game today,as you can attest to.:)
