What typically makes an SKS a Bubba SKS

1. Factory wood stock removed and replaced with a plastic or tactical style stock
2. Fixed 10 round magazine removed and replaced with detachable magazines
3. Added scope rails drilled or clamped onto the receiver
4. Muzzle brakes or flash hiders added that were not original
5. Bayonet removed
6. Non original paint jobs or coatings
7. General parts swapping from mixed countries of origin

My opinion- don't buy an SKS from a retailer. Buy it private sale from someone local to you. I wouldn't want your SKS purchase being tied to your PAL. The CCFR just released a video on how easy it is for the RCMP to get the information from retailers. They will know exactly who has what for every purchase made at retail since 2022.
