I have a chance to buy a decent looking rifle as noted above. Not sure what the value might be. Scarce info as far as Canadian prices go. The rifle pictured is not the rifle I'm looking at, but is the same model. Probably rates about 7/10 condition. Thanks in advance for any info.

Thanks Martin! Missed that blurb. I can cook up an offer on with that info. These rifles aren't found very often any more. Probably Century sold them for $39.95 years back.

I've owned 2 and did not have any crack around the mag well. Just lucky I guess?
Shoot well and the action is slick as sh!t.

I got mine stateside. One of my most favorite antiques.
The bolt is an engineering marvel!!
They shoulder, for me, very well.
I can't comment on price as I got mine years ago.

It was 6 or 7 years ago now that my wife bought this one for me for my birthday.
She bought it at Proline in Calgary - if you know the store, its on a busy street in a yuppie neighborhood. She bought the gun and then walked three blocks to her car carrying this thing over her shoulder !!!
Said she got a few weird looks I'm sure she did!
Probably won't help you with value today but, she paid $350 for it back then

(ETA - there are no cracks around the magwell that I've noticed)
