Troy Pump Action Rifle - .223 Rem., 16", BattleAx CQB Stock [SPMP-AR0-00BT-CA]

Are we getting the folding stock too?
I spoke with the importer this morning about folding stock guns. They are gonna see if they can get us an 18" gun with folding stock. The issue is the 16" goes below the OAL for NR.

Also they are going to be bringing in a 12.5" version with the same configuration as above.

Troy has been making the PAR for over a decade now, they have made some changes but there still seems to be some people having issues with the Or rod's connection with the bolt. There is a current thread where a member here has been waiting for almost a year to get a .308 op rod to quickly drop in and replace the one that broke on I believe the second outing.... you might want to suggest that the importer stock up on small consumbable parts that are easy to replace but hard to source!

12.5" would be incredible.

The first batch of these imported in like 2009 had the us market folding stocks. In the product description Troy lists them as 26” folded but it turned out they were just under by the way the rcmp measures. There are still tons of people who own them and aren’t aware.

I have wanted to build one with a 16.5 barrel or 18” and folding stock for a long time. I’d rather have one directly from Troy because their folding stock is really nice.

There is another site sponsor who has an “upgrade kit” they make for the par with a 10” barrel and some other upgrades.

Any ar barrel should work but you have to plug the gas port somehow. There are tons of companies that sell barrels without the gas port drilled.

Aside from that, they take a lot of force to operate the pump sometimes and lar pistol mags (all aluminum mags) don’t usually work without modification

I’ve got a 16” in 300AAC with the folder. One of the most accurate rifles I own.

Bought it way before the bans, so it’s not a cope rifle.

Highly recommend!
Agreed.

Had my 223 for about 3 years and has always enjoyed it.

Had the ATRS conversion to 10.5" which has been really good.

Picked up a 308 on sale last year - haven't had it out yet only snap cappin.

I have the upgrade to 10" - really like it.

The action only stiffens up after it starts to get hot from multiple magazines.

In my rifle LAR mags work 100% without modification.
