Thinking of buying one at an auction this week. Around $400
Sadly there is no viewing so have to take a chance even those no more warrentee on these scopes

Is it worth it. Any one have one on a 22

The Nikon black x1000s were quite popular when they were on the market. Not sure about the fs1000 though?

Nikon got out of the scope game a few years back though, so any warranty claims you might need will lead to credit towards another Nikon optical product, not a repaired or replaced scope. Just an FYI.

The auction is still going. You will likely be paying more than the $320 plus buyers premium plus tax

I have one, different power, but I very much like it. When they were clearing them out they were something like $600? But don't recall for sure.

I have done the auction game for a long time. I wouldn't trust most auctioneers period. So roll the dice but be wary.

I had a problem with one (not wards, I have never dealt with them) were I felt they hid certain issues in their listing. I called them and the first time when they said they wouldn't purposely hide something I beleived them. By the 4th time them saying that ya, they were purposely hiding something. We worked something out and I was happy and I will deal with them again but I will be more careful. I have seen and or had other problems in the past. If catch the issue prior to bidding, I just walk away.

The ones I definitely walk away from are the ones that have 5,6 pics or more but none of them show a particular part of the rifle. That one is just screaming there is an issue.
