Cheek raiser

Just insure whatever you choose allows options for removing your bolt. Sucks having to remove action from the stock! Advantage of adjustable risers.

One of the reasons I decided to pay $50.90 which includes shipping and taxes. . . . paid less than 20 bucks extra. Well worth the peace of mind.
Does your bolt 'clear' the riser when you take it out? How many times will the velcro last, or does it release easily? Mine in the B22 FV in Post #13 just needs to drop the 'front' of the riser about 3/4".

One of the reasons I decided to pay $50.90 which includes shipping and taxes. On top of it I know what I am getting. I've red amazon reviews on the bolt on version. All sorts of complaints regarding supplied hardware being rusty, wrong colour and poor quality. I didn't want to play lottery and paid less than 20 bucks extra. Well worth the peace of mind.
Yea, nothing a trip to HD cant get fixed for 1 dollar. Go pick up a stainless bolt or just drop some oil on it.
Mine showed up green, pictured black. I ordered 2. Both came in as green. Sent them a message. Sent me two more black ones free of charge. So now I have 4... lol My cost per riser, 16 bucks now. LOL Pretty good deal! Super sturdy.

Perks of the adjustable risers that drill into it! Loosen, drop and its good to go.

I have one of the amazon ones on a savage. didn't want to drill the stock, so i set it where i wanted it, then secured it with two blobs of caulking in the void. its stuck, but if i ever want to remove it, i can peel off the caulking and its like it was never there, (already removed once to test the theory)

I think I used black mono. just wish the riser didn't have the holes for the bolts, but it works for what it is

I have a cheek riser on my CZ-VMTR that I 'made' from 'mouse-pad and Duck tape. It's been in place for 2-years with Alien Tape  I needed the height due to a 419-30* rail and 8-34x56mm FFP scope. I just couldn't drill that butt 😉

Don’t blame yah Buck for not wanting to put holes in such nicely figured piece of wood!

Another option for no drilling, not for everyone for sure but working for me. Bolt comes out fine and lucked out it’s the perfect height for me. IIRC 50-60$ on Azon came with couple neoprene type pads like mousepad but thicker you can add or not for slight recoil mitigation, not as good as limbsaver but it’s something.IMG_4087.jpeg

Finally had a bit of time to install the raiser from Solely https://www.alflahertys.com/
Thanks for the suggestion!
Velcro mount may sound to some as a cheaper solution. Well, the riser sits solid. It may be not as easy to precisely adjust as screw mount but, it's easy enough to find the perfect fit. After all, that's my rifle and I don't foresee a need for frequent adjustments.
The bolt can be easily removed with raiser in place. Mind you, my scope has fairly long eye relief. Otoh, there is so much space between the ocular and the raiser that ,IMHO, it shouldn't be a problem with any scope on T1x.
Oh, the plastic itself is on heavy duty side and solid.
To top it all of, I was able to get it in the colour that perfectly matches Tikka Coyote Brown!
All in all, I'm happy with it!

In my opinion it has to be made of soft leather or at least covered in it. So much better against my tender skin in the cold than plastic. :ROFLMAO:
