Replacing shotgun magazine tube

Hi there, I’m looking for some help on replacing a magazine tube.

This specific one is a Vapenringen, Mod 1 Automatic. It’s a semi auto 12g X 2 3/4. The magazine tube has been mechanically restricted to one shell in the tube. I don’t know #### all about shotguns, I’m just wondering if someone can suggest some replacements. Are there some shotgun tubes that fit other models? It is 8” long.

Any help would be appreciated. Again, I don’t know anything about shotguns so if this is a super dumb question, I apologize lol.

Vapenringen Magazine Tube Replacement Options

SKB/Ithaca Compatibility: Because many Vapenringen automatic shotguns were manufactured by SKB (Japan), parts for vintage SKB Model 300/900 or Ithaca Model 51 automatic shotguns may be compatible.

Used Market: The most common way to find a replacement tube is through online gun auctions (such as SFRC, Wild Rose Auctions, or Switzer's) that sell used firearms or parts, as these guns often appear as donor, broken, or parts-only, such as a receiver with a tube.

Gunsmithing: A qualified gunsmith can often fabricate or adapt a generic, high-quality steel magazine tube to fit a 12-gauge automatic shotgun

How was it mechanically limited to one round ?
Can you not remove what ever it is that is plugging the magazine tube ?

It seems to be crimped on both sides holding a metal cap inside. Considering drilling out the crimps. This is my buddy’s shotgun and I’m trying to help out so I don’t have my hands on it.

I haven’t disassembled one before so I don’t know how easy the tube can be removed?

Ok, that explains it ... that it is crimped.
Right now I have nothing more to assist, but trust someone with more experience comes along with a good resolve.
