I’m running a fairly modded P226R (DA/SA) for IDPA (since the P320 ban).
Managed to find a Pro-Cut slide so I could run an SRO. Using a Sig Short Reset Trigger kit along with an Armory Craft adjustable flat trigger. Also did the Armory Craft trigger and hammer springs, but be careful and test it well, because I started getting light primer strikes, and ended up going to a hammer spring that was only slightly lighter than the OEM spring. I tried the extended magazine release but it was getting in the way of the decocking lever and I didn’t want to start grinding parts, so I went back to OEM. Put Lok Grips on it. Best grips available in my opinion. Wish they did them in brass for the P226, but even these aluminum ones are far superior to any of the OEM Sig grip options. Last but not least, I took a tungsten guide rod from a P320 and cut it to fit the 226 (that took allot of dremel cut off wheels

) and paired it with an Armory Craft recoil spring kit dialed in for 147gr loaded at approx 128pf.
Still like my modded P320 better, but this isn’t too shabby.
