Difference between .308 and 6.5 creedmore caliber.

Hello all, I was recently looking to buy a new firearm and for the firearm I was looking at there was 2 different caliber. The .308 and the 6.5 creedmore. Honestly I don't know the 6.5 creedmore, so if some of you could help me out. Thank you.

Never shot one, but right off the bat 6.5 Creedmore strikes me as being like buying a limited dealerships foreign car where replacement parts are going to be hard to find, substituting 'replacement parts' for sheer availability of rounds, including of loads and bullet weights. A great number of used hunting rifles in stores seem to be 6.5s and they stick around, whereas .308s go quickly.
