Difference between .308 and 6.5 creedmore caliber.

Never shot one, but right off the bat 6.5 Creedmore strikes me as being like buying a limited dealerships foreign car where replacement parts are going to be hard to find, substituting 'replacement parts' for sheer availability of rounds, including of loads and bullet weights. A great number of used hunting rifles in stores seem to be 6.5s and they stick around, whereas .308s go quickly.
