Is there any DIY trigger adjustment/job that can be done to these rifles? Finding some info on it online, it seems it's the same trigger as the 870

Material has to removed and the sears then polished and the connecting spring lightened. You can get them to a pretty crisp 2 pounds. Did few 760/870 style trigger many years ago.

If you screw up you need to buy 3 parts and start again.

I did pretty much as Guntech suggested (on a 7600)… but replaced the spring with a $2.00 job from the local hardware. Couldn’t fix the slop but man that trigger is light. Ah likes it!

I've replaced the sear on my dad's 7600 with the Timney 870 fix (sku is "870") which comes with 3 springs and the sear and it improved the trigger a great deal. It's a good option, especially if you're apprehensive about removing material.

That's not really 'slop', just the take up that is required due to the design of a pump or semi auto where a disconnector is required to disengage the trigger as the action is cycled.
